Arabescato Vagli Marble is a typical marble from the Apuan/Versigliese area, named after its quarrying area, Vagli in the province of Lucca.
The material has a white background, with gray/greenish veins, sometimes pinkish.

In the past this material was commonly used for the construction of churches, an example being St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.
