Calacatta Oro

Calacatta Oro or Gold is a precious Italian marble, quarried in Tuscany, in the Apuan Alps. Its background is crystalline white and its veins are yellow-gold; it is a sober and elegant material, which can adapt to any type of setting and context, from classic to modern.

The scenographic aspect of its unique veining makes it ideal for luxury settings, for minimal objects and can be combined with other materials, such as wood and metal. Calacatta was also used in the Renaissance era for interior furnishings and luxury objects.
