The honeycomb is an innovative support made up of an aluminum honeycomb structure enclosed between fiberglass or metal sheets.
Fiberglass is the most popular choice due to its superior technical and functional characteristics compared to solid materials. Metal, on the other hand, is used to ensure secure anchoring in external cladding and to increase conductivity in heated floors.
Technical Specifications of the Honeycomb Support
- Thickness of the support: Ranges from 5 to 20 mm.
- Marble layer: Applied on top of the support, with a thickness ranging from 4 to 10 mm.
- Available sizes: Exceed dimensions of 3.00 x 1.80 meters.
This technology allows for the use and installation of delicate and fragile materials in very large formats. When necessary, the floor pattern is constructed directly on-site, with the finish applied in the workshop.
