Basalto Orvieto

Orvieto Basalt is an effusive rock of volcanic origin, dark in color with white intrusions. It takes the name of the area where it is mined, Orvieto, in Umbria.

This stone is particularly suitable for outdoor and urban settings, such as flooring, but also lends itself well to interior applications, furnishing accessories and tops.

Basalt is also used by Materika, a line of products created by Mondial Marmi in collaboration with enamelling masters who refer to the most ancient artisanal casting techniques.
